Escorted by friend and tour guide Jeroen Krabbé, La Streisand spent Saturday evening at the Rijksmuseum. Especially for the diva, the lights stayed on past closing time. The photographs show Krabbé introducing Streisand’s son actor Jason Gould to an Old Dutch delicacy, the bitterbal. After the museum they took a boat to the Anne Frank House, where Streisand was given a personal late night tour by director Ronald Leopold.

On Thursday and Friday the singer starred at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam Zuidoost. This was the first time she had ever performed in the Netherlands. Both the concerts were totally sold out. Although the tickets were  pricey – 95 euros a piece – the audience loved her classics like Woman in Love. NIW editor-in-chief Maurice Swirc is one of her biggest fans. He twittered from the Ziggo Dome, “Missing the wonderful #Filmisreal premiere evening…Because #Barbra has chosen to hit #Amsterdam tonight…” and “Barbra just spoke about her deep connection to Brooklyn … and how much she loves visiting Amsterdam. We’re at home.”
