Wilders: Europe needs Zionism

According to the PVV leader Europeans must take an example from the Jewish people to recover their own nation states. Wilders: “Israel deserves our support, not only because Israel is the front line against the totalitarian threat of Islam, but also because Israel shows how important it is for people to have their own homeland. Little by little the European countries lose their national sovereignty. Europe is in a terrible state!”  

Wilders expressed, at the conference ‘Europe’s Last Stand’ which was organized by ‘American Freedom Alliance’. In his speech, Wilders also discussed  the  state of the Jews in Europe. According to him , the Jews no longer live safely in Europe.” Anti-Semitism has increased and will grow further, because we accept more Muslim immigrants. According to Esther Voet, the director of CIDI (Center for Information and Documentation on Israel), the comparison is unreasonable and wrong, because the plan to establish Israel was created during the Diaspora. “The Zionism was established by the fact that the Jewish people had no homeland, no country; In Europe states had already formed long ago. Israel is not concerned about the ethnic origin of terrorists, Israel is primarily concerned for safety. The origin of the danger is not important, but the danger itself is”.
